Built on infrastructure that already passes your IT department's checklist
Vizanote runs on Google Cloud Platform. GCP holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, and 27018 certifications and is authorized under FedRAMP. Google will sign a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement covering all infrastructure services we use.
That handles the infrastructure layer. HIPAA compliance also requires correct configuration of access controls and audit log retention — and a BAA with Vizanote. That BAA is included with every paid plan. We do not claim the app is “HIPAA certified” — no app can hold that designation under current HHS rules. What we claim: the architecture is correct, the BAA is signed, and the audit trail is complete.
